Your natural health practitioner will have recommended you order a test kit for a blood test to support more accurate diagnosis of your condition and to monitor your progress.
A pre-ordered test kit from your practitioner’s preferred laboratory is required.
Lucy is affiliated with Genova diagnostics laboratories who supply test kits to clients and alternative medicine practitioners throughout UK and Europe to give access to a wide range to health screens to assist with accurate diagnoses. These tests are useful to assess nutritional status, hormone imbalances, identify pathogens such as viruses and parasites to enable targeted treatments and effective nutritional guidance.
Lucy’s experience as a nurse in cancer treatment means her expertise in phlebotomy (blood test sampling) ensures a level of confidence in drawing blood samples with ease.
Clients who have had test kits organised by other practitioners or organisations are welcome to avail of this blood draw service.
Conditions
* A blood test sampling appointment needs to be booked online or arranged by email request.
* It is important to bring your test kit to the appointment arranged. No test kits are available from Lucy’s clinic.
* It is important to already have a practitioner who is medical or alternative medicine registered to assess the results of the test and give you follow-up advice.
* Age limit: 18 years +
How to Prepare for a Blood Test
* Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water.
* Wear loose clothing: This allows the nurse to access your arm easily for sample collection.
* Fast if required: Some tests require you to fast for a period before the sample is taken. This will be stated in your confirmation email.
