Transformational breathing benefits us on three levels:

Physically by opening the breathing pattern and enhancing the lung capacity generating more energy;

Mentally and emotionally by linking to our subconscious to reduce stress and transform negative beliefs;

Spiritually to access higher levels of awareness, clarity and insight.

Transformational Breath ® is a safe, self-empowering, dynamic process which uses conscious connected breathing to enhance all aspects of your life.

In the East, it has been recognised that the primary life-force (ki/chi/prana) of the body is through the breath, something we take for granted. Diaphramatic or belly breathing promotes full oxygen exchange with carbon dioxide in the lungs. This is a natural, relaxed way of breathing. It aids in reducing the stress hormone cortisol and lowers blood pressure. Symptoms of low blood oxygen levels include headache, rapid, shallow breathing, dizziness, chest pain and high blood pressure.

The diaphragm is the primary breathing muscle in the body. By continuing to hold tension there and other muscles of the back and chest most of us now have a breathing pattern that is restricted.
